New Horizons MVIC Pluto Encounter Raw Data v2.0

Abstract: This data set contains Raw data taken by the New Horizons Multispectral Visible Imaging Camera instrument during the Pluto encounter mission phase. This is VERSION 2.0 of this data set. This data set contains MVIC observations taken during the the Approach (Jan-Jul, 2015) and Encounter mission sub-phases, including flyby observations taken on 14 July, 2015. This is version 2.0 of this data set. Version 1.0 included data downlinked between the end of July, 2015 through the end of October 2015. Changes since version 1.0 include additional data downlinked between October, 2015 and the end of January, 2016. These observations include Charon, Nix and Hydra observations from the day of encounter, Pluto and Charon Multi-maps and Multi-longitudes from Approach, full-frame versions of observations downlinked as sub-framed (windowed) versions for version 1.0, Kerberos and Styx observations, Pluto High-phase and Color observations, and departure Ring-search observations taken in November, 2015. Also, updates were made to the documentation and catalog files, primarily to resolve liens from the V1.0 peer review.
