  Software Overview

    NASAView is a Planetary Data System (PDS) product display tool that runs
    on multiple hardware platforms with a common look- and-feel Graphical
    User Interface (GUI). This beta-release is only for the Sun/Solaris
    platform.  Ports to the PC/Win95/WinNT platforms and Power Mac are
    availabe.  A Web enabled version is planned. For a more detailed
    description, refer to the file NASAVIEW.TXT. This software was developed
    at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, an operating division of the
    California Institute of Technology and is available for use by the
    public without need of a license. To obtain information on new releases
    of this software please contact the PDS Central Node at JPL."
