PDS_VERSION_ID = PDS3 RECORD_TYPE = STREAM OBJECT = TEXT PUBLICATION_DATE = 2010-09-27 NOTE = "Description of documents included on this archive" END_OBJECT = TEXT END Stardust Navcam Flight Data Documentation =================================================== Several documents are included in the DOCUMENT subdirectory to provide a thorough description of the spacecraft, the instruments, and a copy of the preflight calibration report. The spacecraft and instrument description document is a collection of HTML documents which describe the various subsystems on the spacecraft as well as a description of each of the science instruments on the spacecraft. This document can be found in the DOCUMENT/SCDESC directory, starting with SCDESC.HTM. A copy of the calibration document has been provided because it contains the best known, most current information regarding the camera. Please remember that the calibration document does not apply to the data provided here, but exclusively to the preflight calibration data. This document is a collection of a large variety of information regarding the characteristics and behaviour of the STARDUST Navigation camera, as well as the characteristics of the optics and reflecting surfaces. This report is listed as a single PDF file, suitable for viewing with Adobe Acrobat. The report can be found in DOCUMENT/CALRPT/CALRPT.PDF. Corrections to the NAVCAM Data Compression Lookup Table in July 2010 -------------------------------------------------------------------- While preparing for Stardust-NExt, the mission operation team at JPL informed SBN that the NAVCAM data compression lookup table documented two places within this data set is not correct. SBN applied the following changes in July 2010: - Corrected the column labels in DOCUMENT/CALRPT/COMPTABL.CSV and fixed the column and row alignment of the data by moving the second column down one row. - Updated the same table in DOCUMENT/CALRPT/CALIBRPT.PDF.
