VOLDESC.CAT

1. What is SDSRC_0001 and what is its relationship to this volume?

2. The values for INSTITUTION_NAME and FACILITY_NAME are reversed.


DOCUMENT Directory:

1. Documents must be included in human-readable text format; PDF, by itself, does not qualify.  M_PLAN_SUPA.PDF, M_PLAN_SUPB.PDF, and MISSION_PLAN.PDF must be converted to *.TXT files or an equivalent.


INDEX Directory:

1. The values for VOLUME ID (column 1) are SDHK_0002; this is different from the VOLUME_ID (SDSRC_0002) in VOLDESC.CAT.


CATALOG Directory:

1. INDEX.TAB lists INTERSTELLAR_PARTICLES as the target for the ISP1 and ISP2 tables (the data product labels also list this target).  There is no DATA_SET_TARGET object definition for this target in DATASET.CAT, there is no MISSION_TARGET object definition in STARDUST.CAT, and there is no INSTERSTELLAR_PARTICLES.CAT file in the CATALOG directory.

2. PERSON.CAT is missing (and not mentioned in CATINFO.TXT or VOLDESC.CAT).

3. Would it be possible in one of the *.CAT files to explain the "interstellar stream" and what assumptions are made about its velocity with respect to the ecliptic?  One of the objectives was to minimize SDU velocity with respect to the stream, and there are a lot of numbers in the data tables quantifying the relative velocities; but I have no image of what this stream is or its motion.


DATA Directory:

1. Typo in TARGET_NAME line (double double quote mark)

2. Some of the angle calculations (e.g., clock angle for spacecraft velocity with respect to Wild 2) are slightly different (at the 0.01 deg level) in the data file compared with calculation directly from parent columns.  This may follow from the fact that the velocity components are small and only three decimal places are given.
