This will be the same value as in the filename of the input engineering file. is one of the following 4-character values (the same value as in the filename of the input engineering file): PIX# (pixel list mode data; # is a 1-character version ID to distinguish the different dumps that might result from a single observation) HIS# (histogram mode data) CNT# (count rate mode data) is the level of data processing of the data. It can take three possible values: ENG (Engineering level data, CODMAC level 2, EDR) SCI (Science level data, CODMAC level 3, REDR) LIN (Reformatted Science level data, CODMAC level 4, REFDR) The extension is always FIT since these are all FITS files. Rosetta Alice browse images contained within the BROWSE directory of the CODMAC level 4 data volume have the following naming conventions: RA___LIN_TN.JPG and are as defined above. The level is always LIN, since browse images are only supplied for the CODMAC level 4 data volumes. The extension is always JPG since these are all JPEG files. ================================================================= WHOM TO CONTACT FOR INFORMATION ================================================================= For questions concerning this volume or the data sets and documentation contained herein, contact: Dr. Andrew J.
