Continuum products are Level 3 according to the CODMAC level definition. Some spectroscopic (CTS) products are Level 4 according to CODMAC level definition since have been irreversibly adjusted to a common frequency scale. Spectrometer frequencies are temperature dependent, and that temperature is adjustable, but extremely well controlled. For the current deliveries, all the calibrated spectrometer (CTS) data has been adjusted to look like it was collected at a reference spectrometer temperature. This means that data collected when the spectrometer was really at that reference temperature (which was true much of the time), did not need any adjustment, and hence shall be considered Level 3. But data collected when not at that temperature is irreversibly processed and shall be considered Level 4.
