END_OBJECT = TEXT END GEOMETRY Directory Contents The GEOMETRY directory contains files intended to provide information on the relative positions of Rosetta, the Sun and the target body, and also the orientation of Rosetta and the MIRO beams. In general, the files only cover the periods in which MIRO acquired significant data for the target body. The files are table files (*.TAB), whose contents are explained by the header information in the label (*.LBL) files corresponding to each *.TAB file. The following table file is present: TEMPEL1_CA_GEOM.TAB - all MIRO observations of Tempel-1. The time resolution is 20 minutes, which is more than required for the slow changes in the overall geometry of the spacecraft, Sun and target. However, this allows sampling of the different boresight positions, as the boresight was stepped between five positions, with a cycle time of 3 hours, in order to allow all remote-sensing instruments to get optimal views of the target.
