PDS_VERSION_ID = PDS3 RECORD_TYPE = STREAM PRODUCT_ID = "ERRATA.TXT" DATA_SET_ID = "RL-CAL-ROMAP-3-PHC-MAG-V1.0" OBJECT = TEXT NOTE = "ERRATA file for RL-CAL-ROMAP-3-PHC-MAG-V1.0" PUBLICATION_DATE = 2020-09-23 END_OBJECT = TEXT END This data set was not fixed after the last review. Below are the remaining known issues. All -3- data files should be within the stated error limits of the -5- data for the same time intervals. In addition, the error limit stated in the romap_calibration_desc.asc document for -3- data should not just be a lower limit (>100 nT). Errors > 100 nT do not really qualify data as calibrated when the expected field values are a few nT to a few 10’s of nT. The calibration of the -3- files is clearly wrong and should be fixed. Unfortunately, the calibration documentation is incomplete and does not fully describe the steps to go from -2- to -3-. The offset values given in the romap_calibration_desc.asc file are similar to the values in the data file. It’s possible that the offsets were not subtracted. A complete description of the -2- to -3- needs to be provided (ADC units to ~nT).
