New Horizons Student Dust Counter (SDC) Data Archive Bundle

This bundle will contain the following collections:

New Horizons SDC data collections, one for each mission phase and processing 
level (raw and calibrated).  In general these will contain tables in .FIT 
format from the SDC instrument.

Reference Files Used in Calibrating Data from the New Horizons SDC Instrument 
contains a cumulative set of ancillary files (coefficient table, mean DN table 
and DN standard deviation table, calibration matrix) used in calibrating the 
data sets delivered by the Student Dust Counter (SDC) instrument over the 
course of the New Horizons primary and extended missions.

This bundle was created by the Small Bodies Node of the Planetary Data System 
as part of migration from PDS3 to PDS4. The data collections from the prime 
mission and KEM1 extended mission found in this bundle were originally 
migrated from PDS3 datasets produced by the New Horizons SOC.  All other 
extended mission data is produced by the New Horizons SOC using the PDS4 
standards.
