These data are the first products migrated from the New Horizons PDS3 mission phases into PDS4 format. They are certified for use, but there are some minor errata discovered in the labels during validation and acceptance testing that will be corrected prior to archiving. These are: * Some data products indicate a target type of "Calibrator", but are in fact of type Calibration Field, which is used for calibration, not an onboard calibration source. These will be corrected. * The context object names appearing in the product labels are not character-by-character identical with the names defined by the context objects. The names in the product labels will be updated to meet this new requirement. * The New Horizons team has frozen on PDS4 schema version 1.19.0.0. (aka "1J00") for their current PDS4 deliveries, and SBN matched that version for the migration. Some products indirectly reference later versions of the PDS4 schema (through, for example, discipline dictionaries that are built on later PDS schema versions). While this has no impact on the interpretation of the New Horizons label content, it can cause processing warnings about a "multiply defined namespace" in some situations. The schema location "hints" in some products will change to reflect the "1J00" file references once the requisite files have been generated by the PDS Engineering Node. Also note: * In the data labels, the and were stated in units of microradians. This unit is not available in the PDS4 1J00 schema. The values have been converted to milliradians, * The JPG thumbnails provided for the raw and calibrated LORRI data have not been included in this initial version of the PDS4 data, because it is not yet clear how these will be incorporated into the new, unified PDS web site and data search currently under construction. They will be included in a subsequent revision when the necessary label support has been identified.
