This document contains a high-level overview of the data_maf data collection. Data Set Overview =============================================================================== This collection consists of maneuver and acceleration files which describe the attitude correction thrusts undertaken by the Double Asteroid Redirection Test (DART) spacecraft during the course of the mission. Data =============================================================================== The data_maf products are also known as "small forces files" and describe the thrusting undertaken by DART and aids in understanding science associated with the radio science data. The files record the cumulative delta-v effect of attitude thruster firings over specified time periods. An estimate of mass loss due to thruster usage is also included in the maf files. The maf data products have the following naming convention: dart_rs_yyyy1_ddd1_yyyy2_ddd2_maf_##. where: dart_rs : Hardcoded string; "dart" refers to the DART mission, "rs" is radio science yyyy1 : four digit year of starttime of first record in the data ddd1 : three digit day of year of starttime of first record in the data yyyy2 : four digit year of endtime of last record in the data ddd2 : three digit day of year of endtime of last record in the data maf : hardcoded string; "maf" refers to this as the maneuver acceleration file ## : two digit version number : "csv" for comma-delimited ASCII file, "xml" for the PDS4 XML label
