***** File INFRARED.TXT The following errata are reported for the Infrared Studies Network (or Discipline) of the IHW: - Be aware that, even though the extension headers for the table data may imply that the numerical values are given with one, fixed format, this is not the case. - In general, there is no system to the precision in the TIME-OBS values given in the FITS headers. (The directives from the Lead Center mandated that the TIME-OBS values should be given with one to five decimals, where the number of decimals in a particular file should not exceed the number of significant decimals, but never be less than one decimal. Please note, that in this errata file, all corrected TIME-OBS values are given with three decimals.) - The spectral resolutions quoted are apparently rough values appropriate to the systems and not to any specific files. - The directives for the keyword SYSTEM mandates that the value field is equal to 'dooottii', where d = discipline no., ooo = IAU observatory code, tt = telescope no. at a particular observatory, and ii = (optional) telescope instrument no. assigned by the individual disciplines. In the cases where the observatory doesn't have an assigned IAU code, ooo = 500, tt = country code, and ii = observatory/telescope code. In most cases, the IR Studies net have used zeros for the last two digits when the second through fourth digit equals 500, e.g. all U.S. observatories without an IAU code that contributed observations to IRSN, have SYSTEM = '25001600'. - The space is missing in the last name of the observer LE BERTRE,T in a total of 31 files. This error occurs in the value field of the keyword OBSERVER in two files (FILE-NUM = 222127 (January 26, 1986) and FILE-NUM = 220206 (March 3, 1986)). In the remaining 29 files, the error occurs in the COMMENT ADD. OBS. The FILE-NUM values (and corresponding dates) for these files are: 220212 (September 25, 1985) 220193 (March 28, 1986) 222136 (December 30, 1985) 222137 (March 28, 1986) 220180 (February 18, 1986) 220194 (April 3, 1986) 220181 (February 19, 1986) 220195 (April 4, 1986) 220182 (February 20, 1986) 220196 (April 13, 1986) 220183 (February 22, 1986) 220197 (April 22, 1986) 220184 (February 23, 1986) 220198 (April 23, 1986) 220185 (February 24, 1986) 220199 (April 24, 1986) 220186 (February 25, 1986) 220200 (April 25, 1986) 220187 (February 26, 1986) 220201 (April 26, 1986) 220188 (February 27, 1986) 220202 (May 23, 1986) 220189 (February 28, 1986) 220203 (June 2, 1986) 220190 (March 1, 1986) 220204 (June 24, 1986) 220191 (March 2, 1986) 220205 (June 25, 1986) 220192 (March 18, 1986) - FILE-NUM = 220007 (April 10, 1985) The measurement made through the K filter and the second measurement made through the J filter both have a footnote specifying that the "Observation was made on 10.3/04/85", while the times in the data record are given as 0607 (= 10.255/04/85) and 0617 (= 10.262/04/85). Even though 0.255 and 0.262 would be 0.3 if rounded to one decimal, it's not clear why this information is given for these particular measurements. The last measurement in the FITS data record doesn't have a time given, but there is a footnote included specifying that this is the "Average of J measurements for 10/04/85", which implies that the mid-time for this measurement is 0547 (= 10.241/04/85). Since all observations should be given in chronological order based on the mid-time of each observation, this entry should be placed after the H filter entry. The arithmetic mean of the magnitudes for the two J measurements is 17.01, while the value given in the data record is 16.99. Unless some kind of (unspecified) weight function has been used, this is incorrect. It is not clear why this entry was included. - FILE-NUM = 220008 (April 11, 1985) The third measurement through the J filter doesn't have a time given, but there is a footnote included specifying that this is the "Average of the J measurements", which implies that the mid-time for this measurement is 0550 (= 11.243/04/85). Since all observations should be given in chronological order based on the mid-time of each observation, this entry should be placed after the first J filter entry. It is not clear why this entry was included. - FILE-NUM = 220161 (August 19, 1985) The TIME-OBS value given in the FITS header is incorrect. This is supposed to be the mid-time for all observations in this file (and the two observations in this file were made at 1553 and 1601, respectively). The mid-time should be 1557 (= 19.665/08/85). - FILE-NUM = 220011 (September 4, 1985) The TIME-OBS value given in the FITS header is incorrect. This is supposed to be the mid-time for all observations in this file (and the three observations in this file were made between 1119 and 1150). The mid-time should be 1135 (actually 1134.5 = 4.482/09/85). - FILE-NUM = 220015 (September 21, 1985) The measurements in the data record are not given in chronological order. - FILE-NUM = 220020 (October 3, 1985) Be aware that the measurement through the J filter was made on October 2, 1985 (at 2.992/10/85). - FILE-NUM = 220021 (October 4, 1985) Be aware that the measurement through the J filter was made on October 3, 1985 (at 3.992/10/85). - FILE-NUM = 220024 (October 16, 1985) Since the error for the magnitude measured through the L filter is given with only one decimal, the magnitude value should be rounded to one decimal. - FILE-NUM = 220029 (October 20, 1985) The TIME-OBS value given in the FITS header is incorrect. There are no times given in the data record, but there is a COMMENT in the FITS header specifying that the "Observations [were] taken between 2:30 & 2:50 UT", which implies that the mid-time should be 0240 (= 20.111/10/85). Since the error for the magnitude measured through the L filter is given with only one decimal, the magnitude value should be rounded to one decimal. - FILE-NUM = 220142 (October 23, 1985) The last name of one of the additional observers (given in COMMENT ADD.OBS.) is spelled wrong (correct spelling is LEBOFSKY). - FILE-NUM = 220036 (November 4, 1985) The TIME-OBS value given in the FITS header is incorrect. There are no times given in the data record, but there is a COMMENT in the FITS header specifying that the "Observations [were] made between 00:10 & 01:30", which implies that the mid-time should be 0050 (= 4.035/11/85). The last name of one of the additional observers (given in COMMENT ADD.OBS.) is spelled wrong (correct spelling is STRAFELLA). Since the errors for the magnitudes measured through the L filter are given with only one decimal, the magnitude values should be rounded to one decimal. - FILE-NUM = 220237 (November 4, 1985) Since the magnitude measured through the N3 filter is given with only one decimal, the error value should be rounded to one decimal. - FILE-NUM = 222121 (November 5, 1985) The spectral resolution is given as 0.015 microns in the FITS header (in the RESOL-SP keyword) even though the wavelength increment ranges from 0.03 to 0.04 microns. - FILE-NUM = 222125 (November 5, 1985) The spectral resolution is given as 0.015 microns in the FITS header (in the RESOL-SP keyword) even though the wavelength increment ranges from 0.017 to 0.024 microns. - FILE-NUM = 222124 (November 5, 1985) The spectral resolution is given as 0.015 microns in the FITS header (in the RESOL-SP keyword) even though the wavelength increment ranges from 0.03 to 0.04 microns. - FILE-NUM = 222123 (November 5, 1985) The spectral resolution is given as 0.015 microns in the FITS header (in the RESOL-SP keyword) even though the wavelength increment ranges from 0.03 to 0.04 microns. - FILE-NUM = 220039 (November 7, 1985) The format used for the names of the additional observers is incorrect. - FILE-NUM = 220145 (November 8, 1985) Even though there is a reference to a definition of the origin included in the data record, no origin definition is included in the FITS header. Since the errors for the magnitudes measured through the L and 10.27 filters are given with only one decimal, the magnitude values should be rounded to one decimal. - FILE-NUM = 220042 (November 9, 1985) The TIME-OBS value given in the FITS header is incorrect. This is supposed to be the mid-time for all observations in this file (and the six observations in this file were made between 0027 and 0106). The mid-time should be 0047 (actually 0046.5 = 9.032/11/85). - FILE-NUM = 220166 (November 9, 1985) The TIME-OBS value given in the FITS header is incorrect. This is supposed to be the mid-time for all observations in this file (and the ten observations in this file were made between 1413 and 1547). The mid-time should be 1500 (= 9.625/11/85). - FILE-NUM = 220168 (November 10, 1985) The TIME-OBS value given in the FITS header is incorrect. This is supposed to be the mid-time for all observations in this file (and the twentythree observations in this file were made between 1412 and 1551). The mid-time should be 1502 (actually 1501.5 = 10.626/11/85). Since the errors for the magnitudes measured through the N, Q, 12.5, 11.6, 9.8, and 8.7 filters are given with only one decimal, the magnitude values should be rounded to one decimal. - FILE-NUM = 220043 (November 14, 1985) The TIME-OBS value given in the FITS header is incorrect. This is supposed to be the mid-time for all observations in this file (and the three observations in this file were made between 2140 and 2154). The mid-time should be 2147 (= 14.908/11/85). - FILE-NUM = 220044 (November 14, 1985) The TIME-OBS value given in the FITS header is incorrect. There are no times given in the data record, but there is a COMMENT in the FITS header specifying that the "Observations [were] made between 23:10 & 23:40 UT", which implies that the mid-time should be 2325 (= 14.976/11/85). Since the errors for the magnitudes measured through the L filter are given with only one decimal, the magnitude values should be rounded to one decimal. - FILE-NUM = 220046 (November 16, 1985) Since the errors for the magnitudes measured through the L and M filters are given with only one decimal, the magnitude values should be rounded to one decimal. - FILE-NUM = 220049 (November 16, 1985) Since the errors for the magnitudes measured through the L and M filters are given with only one decimal, the magnitude values should be rounded to one decimal. - FILE-NUM = 222117 (November 18, 1985) The DATAMIN value in the FITS header is given incorrectly as 1.7499600000000E+00, while the correct value is 1.7500E+00. - FILE-NUM = 220052 (November 22, 1985) The TIME-OBS value given in the FITS header is incorrect. This is supposed to be the mid-time for all observations in this file (and the two observations in this file were made at 0731 and 0754). The mid-time should be 0743 (actually 0742.5 = 22.321/11/85). - FILE-NUM = 220053 (November 22, 1985) The TIME-OBS value given in the FITS header is incorrect. This is supposed to be the mid-time for all observations in this file (and the three observations in this file were made between 1050 and 1109). The mid-time should be 1100 (actually 1059.5 = 22.458/11/85). - FILE-NUM = 220055 (November 23, 1985) The measurements in the data record are not given in chronological order. - FILE-NUM = 220057 (December 1, 1985) Since the error for the magnitude measured through the L filter is given with only one decimal, the magnitude value should be rounded to one decimal. - FILE-NUM = 220058 (December 3, 1985) The TIME-OBS value given in the FITS header is incorrect. This is supposed to be the mid-time for all observations in this file (and the four observations in this file were made between 0059 and 0108). The mid-time should be 0104 (actually 0103.5 = 3.044/12/85). - FILE-NUM = 220144 (December 3, 1985) Since the errors for the magnitudes measured through the L and M filters are given with only one decimal, the magnitude values should be rounded to one decimal (with the exception of one measurement through the L filter, where both magnitude value and error are correctly given with two decimals). - FILE-NUM = 220169 (December 4, 1985) The TIME-OBS value given in the FITS header is incorrect. This is supposed to be the mid-time for all observations in this file (and the twentyseven observations in this file were made between 0523 and 0733). The mid-time should be 0628 (= 4.269/12/85). - FILE-NUM = 220170 (December 5, 1985) The TIME-OBS value given in the FITS header is probably incorrect. This is supposed to be the mid-time for all observations in this file (and the 279 observations in this file seem to range from 0604 to 0951). The mid-time should most likely be 0758 (actually 0757.5 = 5.332/12/85). The last two observations made through the 11.6 filter are out of chronological order. All observations made through the K filter (with the exception of the two made at 0920 and 0944) seem to be out of chronological order. Please note that only eleven of the measurements made through the K filter have time values in the data records (on the CD-ROM). The remaining measurements through the K filter have been assigned approximate time values in the Printed Archive and the Printed Archive Index. - FILE-NUM = 220060 (December 6, 1985) The TIME-OBS value given in the FITS header is incorrect. This is supposed to be the mid-time for all observations in this file (and the five observations in this file were made between 1647 and 1720). The mid-time should be 1704 (actually 1703.5 = 6.711/12/85). - FILE-NUM = 221012 (December 7, 1985) Even though there is an origin definition included in the FITS header, no reference to the origin definition is included in the data record. - FILE-NUM = 220061 (December 7, 1985) The TIME-OBS value given in the FITS header is incorrect. This is supposed to be the mid-time for all observations in this file (and the five observations in this file were made between 1717 and 1744). The mid-time should be 1731 (actually 1730.5 = 8.730/12/85). - FILE-NUM = 220069 (December 11, 1985) Since the errors for the magnitudes measured through the L and M filters are given with only one decimal, the magnitude values should be rounded to one decimal. - FILE-NUM = 222131 (December 12, 1985) The spectral range is 5.306 - 8.905 microns, but it is given as 5.306 - 8.196 in the FITS header (in the RANGE-SP keyword). Be aware that after the 23rd column, there is a negative wavelength increment (of -0.435 microns). - FILE-NUM = 220071 (December 13, 1985) The TIME-OBS value given in the FITS header is incorrect. This is supposed to be the mid-time for all observations in this file (and the fifteen observations in this file were made between 0537 and 0619). The mid-time should be 0558 (= 13.249/12/85). According to a COMMENT in the FITS header "The errors were all less than 0.05 mag.", but the error given in the data record for the measurement through the Q filter is 0.071. - FILE-NUM = 222001 (December 14, 1985) The spectral resolution is given as 0.2 microns in the FITS header (in the RESOL-SP keyword) even though the wavelength increment ranges from 0.231 to 0.256 microns. - FILE-NUM = 222002 (December 14, 1985) The spectral resolution is given as 0.2 microns in the FITS header (in the RESOL-SP keyword) even though the wavelength increment ranges from 0.244 to 0.256 microns. - FILE-NUM = 222159 (December 16, 1985) The spectral resolution is given as 1.8 - 50 microns in the FITS header (in the RESOL-SP keyword) even though the wavelength increment ranges from 0.5 to 500 microns. - FILE-NUM = 222153 (December 17, 1985) Be aware that after the 18th column, there is a negative wavelength increment (of -0.29 microns). - FILE-NUM = 222132 (December 17, 1985) The spectral range is 8.196 - 13.210 microns, but it is given as 8.19 - 13.21 in the FITS header (in the RANGE-SP keyword). The spectral resolution is given as 0.15 microns in the FITS header (in the RESOL-SP keyword) even though the wavelength increment ranges from 0.218 to 0.436 microns. - FILE-NUM = 220073 (December 18, 1985) The TIME-OBS value given in the FITS header is incorrect. This is supposed to be the mid-time for all observations in this file (and the three observations in this file all have the time 2030 specified). The mid-time should be 2030 (= 18.854/12/85). - FILE-NUM = 220074 (December 18, 1985) The TIME-OBS value given in the FITS header is incorrect. This is supposed to be the mid-time for all observations in this file (and the nine observations in this file were made between 1750 and 2001). The mid-time should be 1856 (actually 1855.5 = 18.789/12/85). - FILE-NUM = 220077 (December 20, 1985) The TIME-OBS value given in the FITS header is incorrect. This is supposed to be the mid-time for all observations in this file (and the nine observations in this file were made between 1705 and 1855). The mid-time should be 1800 (= 21.750/12/85). - FILE-NUM = 220080 (January 8, 1986) The measurements through the J and H filters are not given in correct, chronological order. Since the errors for the magnitudes measured through the Q, 7.8, and 12.5 filters, as well as the second observation through the N filter, are given with two decimals, the magnitude values should be rounded to two decimals. - FILE-NUM = 220082 (January 9, 1986) The TIME-OBS value given in the FITS header is incorrect. This is supposed to be the mid-time for all observations in this file (and the five observations in this file were made between 1522 and 1544). The mid-time should be 1533 (= 9.648/1/86). - FILE-NUM = 220087 (January 21, 1986) The TIME-OBS value given in the FITS header is incorrect. Assuming that the measurements are given in chronological order, the first measurement (through the 12.5 filter) was made at 1834 (= 13.774/3/86). Since the last six measurements don't have any times given, the exact mid-time (for the complete file) can't be determined, but it must in any case be greater than 0.774. Please note that the six last measurements have been assigned approximate time values in the Printed Archive and the Printed Archive Index. - FILE-NUM = 222139 (March 16, 1986) The spectral range is 3.27365 - 3.29386 microns, but it is given as 3.273 - 3.294 in the FITS header (in the RANGE-SP keyword). The wavelength value in the 5th column is given incorrectly (as 2.28520). This is supposed to be the mid-time for all observations in this file (and the thirtyeight observations in this file were made between 1641 and 1903). The mid-time should be 1752 (= 17.744/3/86). - FILE-NUM = 220156 (March 19, 1986) The TIME-OBS value given in the FITS header is probably incorrect. Assuming that the measurements are given in chronological order, the first measurement (through the J filter) was made at 0933 (= 19.398/3/86). Since the remaining measurements don't have any times given, the exact mid-time (for the complete file) can't be determined, but it must in any case be greater than (or equal to) 0.398. Since the errors for the magnitudes measured through the L and M filters are given with one decimal, the magnitude values should be rounded to one decimal. Please note that all but the first measurement have been assigned approximate time values in the Printed Archive and the Printed Archive Index. - FILE-NUM = 220157 (March 20, 1986) Since the errors for the magnitudes measured through the L and M filters are given with one decimal, the magnitude values should be rounded to one decimal. Please note that all but the first measurement have been assigned approximate time values in the Printed Archive and the Printed Archive Index. - FILE-NUM = 220104 (March 21, 1986) The TIME-OBS value given in the FITS header is incorrect. This is supposed to be the mid-time for all observations in this file (and the four observations in this file were made between 0253 and 0314). The mid-time should be 0304 (actually 0303.5 = 21.127/3/86). - FILE-NUM = 220158 (March 21, 1986) Since the errors for the magnitudes measured through the L and M filters are given with one decimal, the magnitude values should be rounded to one decimal. Please note that all but the first measurement have been assigned approximate time values in the Printed Archive and the Printed Archive Index. - FILE-NUM = 220159 (March 22, 1986) Please note that all but the first measurement have been assigned approximate time values in the Printed Archive and the Printed Archive Index. - FILE-NUM = 220106 (March 24, 1986) The TIME-OBS value given in the FITS header is incorrect. This is supposed to be the mid-time for all observations in this file (and the thirtynine observations in this file were made between 1814 and 1948). The mid-time should be 1901 (= 24.792/3/86). - FILE-NUM = 220107 (March 25, 1986) There should probably not be a comma in the value field of the keyword OBSERVER in this file (the value field should most likely be equal to 'CHEN PEI-SHENG/ET AL.'). Please note that the measurements through the H filter have been assigned approximate time values in the Printed Archive and the Printed Archive Index. - FILE-NUM = 220108 (March 27, 1986) Please note that the measurements through the H filter have been assigned approximate time values in the Printed Archive and the Printed Archive Index. - FILE-NUM = 220193 (March 28, 1986) Since one of the magnitudes measured through the M filter is given with only one decimal, the corresponding magnitude error should be rounded to one decimal. - FILE-NUM = 222137 (March 28, 1986) The spectral resolution is given as 0.003 microns in the FITS header (in the RESOL-SP keyword) even though the wavelength increment ranges from 0.015 to 0.382 microns. According to the COMMENT section of the FITS header, the fourth row of the data array contains the fractional part of the Julian date. These data values range from 0.2778430 to 0.4281370, which implies that the mean is equal to 0.3529900. This indicates that the correct TIME-OBS value should be 0.853 (and not 0.37, as is given). - FILE-NUM = 220110 (March 29, 1986) The TIME-OBS value given in the FITS header is incorrect. This is supposed to be the mid-time for all observations in this file (and the six observations in this file were made between 0327 and 0335). The mid-time should be 0331 (= 29.147/3/86). - FILE-NUM = 220111 (March 29, 1986) Please note that the measurements through the H filter have been assigned approximate time values in the Printed Archive and the Printed Archive Index. - FILE-NUM = 220171 (March 31, 1986) Since the errors for the magnitudes measured through all but the N filter are given with one decimal, the corresponding magnitude values should be rounded to one decimal. - FILE-NUM = 220113 (April 1, 1986) Be aware that the first three measurements were made on March 31, 1986 (between 31.997/3/86 and 31.999/3/86, which is correctly indicated in a footnote). The next three measurements have the times incorrectly given as 2400, 2401, and 2403. These times should be 0000, 0001, and 0003, respectively, all with the date 1/4/86. - FILE-NUM = 220114 (April 2, 1986) The TIME-OBS value given in the FITS header is probaly incorrect. This is supposed to be the mid-time for all observations in this file (and the nine observations in this file were apparently made between 2039 and 2131). The mid-time should most likely be 2105 (= 2.878/4/86). Please note that the measurements through the H filter have been assigned approximate time values in the Printed Archive and the Printed Archive Index. - FILE-NUM = 222141 (April 4, 1986) The spectral range is 3.27365 - 3.29386 microns (or 3.274 - 3.294 rounded), but it is given as 8.274 - 3.294 in the FITS header (in the RANGE-SP keyword). - FILE-NUM = 222130 (April 8, 1986) Be aware that after the 22nd column, there is a negative wavelength increment (of -0.410 microns). - FILE-NUM = 222129 (April 10, 1986) Be aware that after the 22nd column, there is a negative wavelength increment (of -0.288 microns). - FILE-NUM = 222177 (April 10, 1986) Be aware that after the 22nd column, there is a negative wavelength increment (of -0.288 microns). - FILE-NUM = 222160 (April 15, 1986) The spectral resolution is given as 1.8 - 50 microns in the FITS header (in the RESOL-SP keyword) even though the wavelength increment ranges from 0.5 to 500 microns. - FILE-NUM = 222161 (April 17, 1986) The spectral resolution is given as 1.8 - 50 microns in the FITS header (in the RESOL-SP keyword) even though the wavelength increment ranges from 0.5 to 500 microns. - FILE-NUM = 220176 (April 17, 1986) Since the error for the magnitude measured through the Q filter is given with only one decimal, the magnitude value should be rounded to one decimal. - FILE-NUM = 220177 (April 19, 1986) Since the errors for the magnitudes measured through all the filters in this file are given with only one decimal, the magnitude values should be rounded to one decimal. - FILE-NUM = 223096 (April 20, 1986) According to the COMMENT section of the FITS header, the UT range was 12:37 to 12:50, which implies that the mid-time was 12:43.5 (= 20.530/4/86), which in turn indicates that the TIME-OBS value given is incorrect. - FILE-NUM = 220178 (April 20, 1986) With the exception of the measurements made at 1830, 2215, and 2222, the errors for the remaining measurements are all given with one decimal, so the corresponding magnitude values should be rounded to one decimal. - FILE-NUM = 220179 (April 21, 1986) Two of the measurements have errors given with one decimal. These two measurements should thus be rounded to one decimal. - FILE-NUM = 220122 (April 22, 1986) The TIME-OBS value given in the FITS header is incorrect. This is supposed to be the mid-time for all observations in this file (and the fifteen observations in this file were made between 0716 and 0807). The mid-time should be 0742 (actually 0741.5 = 22.320/4/86). The first four measurements are given with two decimals. The corresponding errors should thus be rounded to two decimals. - FILE-NUM = 222114 (April 29, 1986) The spectral resolution is given as 0.23 microns in the FITS header (in the RESOL-SP keyword) even though the wavelength increment ranges from 0.238 to 0.476 microns. - FILE-NUM = 220126 (April 29, 1986) The TIME-OBS value given in the FITS header is incorrect. This is supposed to be the mid-time for all observations in this file (and the five observations in this file were made between 1742 and 1832). The mid-time should be 1807 (= 29.755/4/86). - FILE-NUM = 222115 (April 30, 1986) The spectral resolution is given as 0.23 microns in the FITS header (in the RESOL-SP keyword) even though the wavelength increment ranges from 0.238 to 0.714 microns. - FILE-NUM = 222111 (May 1, 1986) The spectral resolution is given as 0.23 microns in the FITS header (in the RESOL-SP keyword) even though the wavelength increment ranges from 0.235999 to 0.236001 microns. - FILE-NUM = 222112 (May 1, 1986) The spectral resolution is given as 0.23 microns in the FITS header (in the RESOL-SP keyword) even though the wavelength increment ranges from 0.235999 to 0.236001 microns. - FILE-NUM = 222113 (May 1, 1986) The spectral resolution is given as 0.23 microns in the FITS header (in the RESOL-SP keyword) even though the wavelength increment ranges from 0.235999 to 0.236001 microns. - FILE-NUM = 222128 (May 3, 1986) The DATAMIN value in the FITS header is given incorrectly as -5.5838641188960E+01, while the correct value is -5.58386400E+01. Be aware that the wavelength increment is negative throughout this file. - FILE-NUM = 220173 (May 3, 1986) The TIME-OBS value given in the FITS header is incorrect. This is supposed to be the mid-time for all observations in this file (and the twentytwo observations in this file were made between 0625 and 0955). The mid-time should be 0810 (= 3.340/5/86). - FILE-NUM = 220129 (May 16, 1986) The TIME-OBS value given in the FITS header is incorrect. This is supposed to be the mid-time for all observations in this file (and the five observations in this file were made between 1902 and 1937). The mid-time should be 1920 (actually 1919.5 = 16.805/5/86). - FILE-NUM = 222007 (May 19, 1986) The spectral resolution is given as 0.018 microns in the FITS header (in the RESOL-SP keyword) even though the wavelength increment ranges from 0.0198 to 0.0199 microns. The LAT--OBS value in the FITS header is given incorrectly as '+13/49/36', while the correct value is '+19/49/36'. According to the COMMENT section of the FITS header, "This spectrum is the sum of spectra from 19/05/86 through 21/05/86.", which implies that the DATE-OBS value should be 20/05/86 (and not 19/05/86). Be aware that the wavelength increment is negative throughout this file. - FILE-NUM = 220133 (May 22, 1986) The TIME-OBS value given in the FITS header is incorrect. This is supposed to be the mid-time for all observations in this file (and the three observations in this file were made between 2008 and 2030). The mid-time should be 2019 (= 22.847/5/86). - FILE-NUM = 220136 (May 25, 1986) The TIME-OBS value given in the FITS header is incorrect. This is supposed to be the mid-time for all observations in this file (and the three observations in this file were made between 1956 and 2013). The mid-time should be 2005 (actually 2004.5 = 25.836/5/86). - FILE-NUM = 220218 (June 12, 1986) The TIME-OBS value given in the FITS header is incorrect. This is supposed to be the mid-time for all observations in this file (and the five observations in this file were made between 0836 and 0856). The mid-time should be 0846 (= 12.365/6/86). - FILE-NUM = 220224 (June 1, 1987) Both of the measurements have errors given with one decimal. These two measurements should thus be rounded to one decimal. - FILE-NUM = 220235 (February 1, 1988) The TIME-OBS value given in the FITS header is incorrect. The only measurement in this file was made at 0931 (= 1.397/2/88). - FILE-NUM = 229002 The name(s) of the additional observer(s) is/are not given in this Filtertable file. - FILE-NUM = 229005 The name(s) of the additional observer(s) is/are not given in this Filtertable file. - FILE-NUM = 229006 The name(s) of the additional observer(s) is/are not given in this Filtertable file. - FILE-NUM = 229007 The name(s) of the observer(s) is/are not given in this Filtertable file. - FILE-NUM = 229009 The name(s) of the observer(s) is/are not given in this Filtertable file. - FILE-NUM = 229010 The name(s) of the additional observer(s) is/are not given in this Filtertable file. - FILE-NUM = 229013 The name(s) of the observer(s) is/are not given in this Filtertable file. - FILE-NUM = 229014 The name(s) of the observer(s) is/are not given in this Filtertable file. The LOCATION value is given as 'ZERMATT, SWITZERLAND', while all other files with the same SYSTEM code have the LOCATION value given as 'GORNERGRAT, SWITZERLAND'. - FILE-NUM = 229015 The name(s) of the additional observer(s) is/are not given in this Filtertable file. - FILE-NUM = 229019 The name(s) of the additional observer(s) is/are not given in this Filtertable file.
