Subject: Tempel 1 Spectra Data Set

Anita,

The Tempel 1 data set passed review with a few liens.  Some are simple typos
and things for me to correct, but three of them requested additional
information I don't have.  Here they are:

o If possible, please include a list of the standard stars used in the
  reduction.

o In columns 7 & 8, taking the log of column 7 does not yield the same
  number as in column 8.  This discrepancy needs to be noted and explained.

o Please add the published scale lengths and velocities to this data set.

I've no idea how hard it will be to generate the requested information, but
if you can do it I can figure out how to get it into the data set.

Let me know when you'll have time to think about this.

This will take some digging but I can do this.  I am not sure why anyone
wants this as they are not going to be able to work backward in any way from
these but...

I did a spot check of a few files and log of col 7 = col 8 so could you
point out a specific instance.  Perhaps there is an error in one of the
files but it is a needle in a haystack for me to find it.

This is easy, although since they are published....

I am leaving the country on vacation on Thursday.  I can think about it in
December.  Perhaps you should send a reminder then as I am sure I will
forget it!
