CONTOUR CPU Description The CONTOUR digital hardware is modified from INMS digital hardware. It consists of a CPU board, Analog interface board (incl microsequencer circuits), and PROM board. The CPU board consists of the MA31750 microprocessor, 10 MHz clock oscillator, address and data bus transceivers, watchdog timer, 10 MHz clock oscillator, wait-state generator, clock divider circuitry (for timer A and B @ 100KHz), configuration register, address decoding, Microsequencer interface, 1553B Bus Interface Unit transceivers (to be re-designed), UART and LED interfaces (for debug purposes), PROM address and data transceivers. The PROM board consists of PROM decoding logic, UART decoding logic (unused in flight), PROMs and 64K X 16 bits Harris HS-6617-RH PROMs and transceivers. The Analog interface board consists of Microsequencer interface. The microsequencer interfaces to the pulse counters, RF board, various DACs, and AMUXes. The microsequencer interface will be modified for 3 frequencies and extra glue logic will be added for extra DACs and the number of bits per DAC setup.
