Notes from tracking tests - friday april 5, 2002 used two command loads, tracktest.ssf (short test), tracktest_long.ssf. karl built them Script was to: first load all the dpu macros tt_load_dpu_ .prc load the sequence (tracktestk?) load the tpu ephemeris for the first case send ca_start command (good or bad) ** this arms CRISP for encounter (macro will not kick off if don't send this command, test 2 didn't work because of this) send gc_ca enable reset met to 3 minutes before first command send macro load 1016 proc commands kick off as planned now recycle - on short sequence load new ephemeris send ca_start command (good or bad) send gc_ca enable send macro load 1016 did not need to load the other structures, only 7-9 RESULTS: 1) nominal - worked, selected macro 4 2) 80km early? - tracked ok, but did not kick off macro (because didn't send the ca_start command. 3) 80km late? - tracked ok, kicked off macro 2 (correctly) 4) 115km - tracked ok, kicked off macro 3 roll - was actually 117km!!! 5) 143km - tracked ok kicked of macro 4 6) 160km 7) 2 chebys failed 8) 3 chebys worked 9) 330km - this one worked 10) did not run 530 11) did not run 830 Jack recorded all the data and played back between about 330-430 am Saturday morning 4/6.
