Small Bodies Data Base
Principal Data Listing Utility

This utility takes a small body object identification and returns a listing containing all the principal data on that object currently available in the SBN online archives. In some cases, the data themselves are displayed. In cases where the data consist of a spectrum or a series of observations, a link is supplied to the complete data listing. Other links in the output listing lead to information about individual fields and the source datasets. A further link to the entire dataset (documentation plus all data files) is included in the source description.

Asteroid cross-identifications (apart from names) are courtesy of Dr. E. Bowell's cross-id database. Comet cross-identifications have been compiled from Minor Planet Circulars and IAU Telegrams. Cross-identifications in the current IAU system(s), where they exist, are provided in the output listing.

Comments: Comments about current and future development are welcome, as are suggestions for important datasets not currently in our online archives. Comments about the layout of the output from this particular utility are especially welcome, since I am to a large extent guessing about the optimal format. Please be gentle, and email comments to Anne Raugh (raugh at astro.umd.edu). Many thanks!
